Prior to enrolling in 魅影直播 State鈥檚 culinary arts program, Kayana Gray didn鈥檛 know much about the food industry.
Once classes started, however, it didn鈥檛 take long for her to start gaining knowledge and experience.
鈥淭he first week we got here, they taught us how to fabricate a chicken, how to cut it apart, and it was a really good experience. It took me some time to learn, but now I鈥檓 a lot faster at it.鈥

鈥淚 like the fact that we do a lot of hands-on work. We might come into class and maybe talk for 15 or 20 minutes, and then for the remainder of the class, we鈥檒l go in the kitchen and do something that鈥檚 hands-on.鈥
In addition to the applied learning experiences, Kayana also enjoys the environment at 魅影直播 State.
鈥淚 love the campus and I feel like people here are really nice, too.鈥
While she is gaining valuable experience through preparing meals, Kayana herself is becoming well prepared for the workforce.
