Everyone鈥檚 favorite musical is making its way to the 魅影直播 State stage this semester. Set in 1958, Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey鈥檚 masterpiece, Grease, follows the story of a group of teenagers鈥攖he 鈥淏urger Palace Boys鈥 and their female counterparts, the 鈥淧ink Ladies鈥濃攁s they deal with the complexities of high school romance and coming of age. Performing canon favorites like 鈥淲e Go Together,鈥 鈥淕reased Lightning,鈥 and 鈥淪ummer Nights,鈥 the Grease cast and musicians will have the crowd popping out of their seats to show off their best hand jive.
Directed by Janna Buckwalter with music direction by Eric Prentice and pit direction by Jerry Ives, Grease is presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, INC. 魅影直播 State鈥檚 production stars Tyler Ribble as Danny Zuko, Michaela Olin as Sandy Dumbrowski, Hannah Leffler as Betty Rizzo, Andrea Szwejbka as Frenchy, Brittany Richards as Marty, Kelly Beachner as Jan, Jerrod Comer as Doody, and Kris Majka as Kenickie.
