Kevin Underhill (Somers) led the Pioneers 15-hit in game one with a 3 for 4, 2 RBI performance.聽 ASC scored five in the 1st, two in the 2nd, three in the 3rd, four in the 4th, and three in the 5th.聽 Craig Kosnikowski (N. Tonawanda) allowed one earned run in four innings to pick up his fourth win of the year.
In the nightcap, Derek Speaker (Starpoint) was 3 for 3 with three stolen bases while Kelvin Espinosa (George Washington) was 2 for 3 with 4 RBI.聽 Yordis Veras (Newtown) also chipped in two hits, scored two runs, and knocked home a run.聽 ASC scored聽a run in the 1st, four in the 3rd, three in the 4th, two in the 5th, and one in the 6th.聽 Joel Green (Horseheads) allowed one earned run in four innings to remain perfect on the hill, 4-0.
