In the opener Megan Myers tossed a five inning no-hitter.聽 She allowed just two walks while striking out ten Lady Pioneers.聽 She got all the offense she needed in the 1st when Corning scored six runs.聽
Corning scored four in the 2nd and three in the 3rd to take control of game two.聽 Nikole Poppleton allowed聽a hit and a聽walk while striking out eight batters to earn the win.聽 Sarah Flint (Westmoreland) had the lone Pioneer hit with a double in the 5th inning.
ASC returns to action on Saturday when they travel to Herkimer CCC for a 1 p.m. doubleheader with the Lady Generals.
