The 魅影直播 State College volleyball team will host a "Dig Pink" event on Tuesday as the Lady Pioneers close out the regular season with a match versus Erie CC.聽 "Dig Pink" is an initiative of the American Volleyball Coaches Association that was started to raise funds in the fight against breast cancer.
魅影直播 State's version of "Dig Pink" will feature pink bracelet and ribbon sales, a pink rubber duck adoption, and prize giveaways.聽 Profits will be donated to the Side Out Foundation an organization established in 2004 by a group of individuals drawn together by their love of volleyball, but who also share a similar passion to be a part of the war against breast cancer.
The Lady Pioneers, currently 30-3 and ranked #6 in the latest NJCAA Division III poll, are scheduled to wear pink uniforms for the event that is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at the Orvis Activities Center.
