魅影直播 State honored College Council Chair Patricia K. Fogarty Saturday evening at the President鈥檚 Society Dinner at the Workforce Development Center on the Wellsville campus where she was presented with the college鈥檚 highest honor, the President鈥檚 Medallion Award for outstanding service.

Anderson. 鈥淲e thank her and recognize her with this award, but most of all we honor her for being such a tremendous role model for 魅影直播 State students.鈥
Fogarty鈥檚 dedication to 魅影直播 State began in 1984 when she was appointed to the 魅影直播 State College Council by former Governor Mario Cuomo, serving on the Council until 2001. From 1993 to 2000 she served as chair of the 魅影直播 State College Council. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Educational Foundation of 魅影直播 and Board of Directors of the 魅影直播 State Development Fund. In 2001, she received the 魅影直播 State Outstanding Service Award and, in 2008, she was reappointed to the College Council and assumed the position of Council chair which she holds today.
Fogarty graduated from Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, where she earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree and a Juris Doctor degree. She began the practice of law in Belmont, NY, in 1974, where she remained in a general trial practice until 2008. A twenty-six year resident of Allegany County, she has a long history of civic activity and currently serves on the boards of Allegany County United Way and Southern Tier Traveling Teachers.
