Broome tied the game up with 4:25 remaining in the 1st half when Molly Mazursky took a long shot from outside the box that floated into the top part of the net.
Both teams traded scoring opportunities with shots off posts and great saves by Meghan Lowell (Keshequa) and Hornet goaltender Alicia Sagendorf.聽 Neither team could take the lead in the 2nd half or either of the two ten-minute overtime sessions.
BCC held a 40 to 18 shot advantage.聽 Lowell finished with 22 saves while Sagendorf made nine saves.
Broome had come out victorious in their last 25 matches including a 7-0 victory over ASC last season.
The Lady Pioneers will look to add to their four game unbeaten streak on Saturday when they travel to Niagara CCC for a 1 p.m. contest with the Trailblazers.
