Becky Simpson (Campbell Savona) was 2 for 3 with 2 RBI to pace the offense in game one while Sarah Flint (Westmoreland) was 2 for 3 with an RBI.聽 Teresa Walker (Jamestown) and Melissa Gifford (Jamestown) were each 2 for 3 as well.
With the game tied at 1-1, ASC took advantage of a couple Lady Laker errors to score two runs in the 6th inning to take the lead for good.聽 Simpson tossed a four-hit complete game to earn the victory in game two.聽 She struck out six and didn't allow an earned run to earn her fourth win of the season.聽 Bridgett Bachert (Horseheads) drove a run and finished 1 for 3.聽 ASC was held to just four hits on the day.
The Lady Pioneers take on Onondaga CC on Saturday in their first home action of the season.聽 First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
