Lady Spikers defeat Erie in Dig Pink Contest

The 魅影直播 State College volleyball team wrapped up their regular season with a 17-25, 25-7, 25-23, 25-15 victory over Erie CC in their "Dig Pink" contest.  The Pioneers will head into the WNYAC Tournament this weekend with a 24-8 mark and a 4-2 record in WNYAC play.

Dig PinkThe 魅影直播 State College volleyball team wrapped up their regular season with a 17-25, 25-7, 25-23, 25-15 victory over Erie CC in their "Dig Pink" contest.  The Pioneers will head into the WNYAC Tournament this weekend with a 24-8 mark and a 4-2 record in WNYAC play.

After a sloppy first game, the Lady Pioneers got moving to win their 10th straight match.  Kelley Dumbleton (Warsaw) led the way with eight kills, 12 digs, and three service aces while Brittany Haines (Salamanca) finished with 25 assists, 12 kills, and five kills.  Ashley Hulse (Hammondsport) had a monster night with nine blocks and four kills.  Meghan Kraus (Trumansburg) finished with nine kills, Andrea Presher (Prattsburgh) had 13 digs, and Mandy Bush (Altoona, PA) chipped in eight digs.

The Lady Pioneers wore pink jerseys and organized fundraisers throughout the night to raise funds for the Side-Out foundation.

ASC will host the WNYAC Tournament on Saturday with the official seedings scheduled to be announced Wednesday morning.
