Men 2nd, Women 5th at GCC Harvest Invite

The 魅影直播 State College men's swimming team finished 2nd at the Genesee CC Harvest Invitational while the women finished 5th.  The men scored 290.5 points on the day and trailed only GCC's 302.5 while the women accumulated 62 points.

The 魅影直播 State College men's swimming team finished 2nd at the Genesee CC Harvest Invitational while the women finished 5th.  The men scored 290.5 points on the day and trailed only GCC's 302.5 while the women accumulated 62 points.

Braden Kozlowski (N. Tonawanda) led the Pioneers by winning two events.  He won the 200 free (1:56.94) and the 100 back (1:03.32).  Talon Schroeder (Norwich) won the 1000 free (11:58.20), Jake Giglio (Hornell) won the 50 free (23.22) and 2nd in the 100 fly (59.69), and Mark Pendleton (Beacon) was 2nd in the 200 IM (2:21.55).

The 200 free relay of Giglio, Joshua Tull (Lansing), Josh Stellrecht (Oakfield Alabama), and Kozlowski won in the 1:35.64.

On the women's side, Erin Baum (Dryden) was 3rd in the 200 IM (3:00.80) and 6th in the 100 back (1:25.44) while Maggie McBurney (Jamesville Dewitt) was 4th in the 200 IM (3:07.00) and 5th in the 100 free (1:15.16).

The Pioneers have over a week off before traveling to Buffalo on Nov. 16 to take on Erie CC and Mercyhurst North East in a double-dual meet.
