The 魅影直播 State men's outdoor track & field team sits in 2nd place after day one of the NJCAA Division III National Championships at Howard (MD) CC.  The Pioneers have 27 points and trail only the College of DuPage's (IL) 45 points.

The 魅影直播 State men's outdoor track & field team sits in 2nd place after day one of the NJCAA Division III National Championships at Howard (MD) CC.  The Pioneers have 27 points and trail only the College of DuPage's (IL) 45 points.

John Sweeney (Barker) and Joe Seitz (Williamsville North) led the way for the Pioneers with strong performances in the 10,000.  Sweeney was 2nd with a time of 34:09.89 while Seitz was 3rd in 35:37.96.

In the pole vault Eddie Sparks (Horseheads) finished 3rd with a leap of 4.32 m while Steven Hickey (Rochester/Aquinas) was 4th with a 4.02 m vault.

The men's 4x800 relay team of Logan Drummer (Pioneer), Peter Francia (Greece Olympia), Kris Heidrick (Allegany Limestone), and Brandon Lewis (Red Creek) ran a 8:22.12 to earn 8th place.

Mohawk Valley sits in 3rd with 22 points, Harper (IL) College is 4th (16 points), and SUNY Delhi is 5th (15 points).
