The 魅影直播 State College men's basketball team rallied from an eleven point halftime deficit to down Cuyahoga CC 68-63 in a hard fought contest.  The Pioneers improve to 2-1 on the season while the Challengers fall to 0-2.

Patrick Parker (Jamaica/Hillcrest) led the Pioneers with 25 points. He was 7 for 14 from the field and 10 for 13 from the foul line.  Milton Colquehoun (Silver Spring, MD/Blair) came off the bench and chipped in 11 second half points.  Younatan Gobezai (Bethesda, MD/Bethesda) finished with nine points and eight assists, Calvin Williams (Queens/Francis Lewis) added nine points and seven rebounds, and Tommy Hutson (Brooklyn/Susan McKinney) chipped in six.

De'Shon Hudson led Cuyahoga with 15 poitns and eight boards while Bryant Fluker added 12.  Kenneth Sheffield added 11 off the bench.

Cuyahoga led 35-24 after the first half but the Pioneers shot 59.3% in the second half to rally and grab the lead.  ASC finished the day shooting 39.7% from the field while CCC shot 41.9%.  The Challengers held a 51 to 33 advantage on the boards, 19 to 8 offensive rebounds but were slowed down by 18 turnovers.

The Pioneers host Cayuga CC on Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m.
