The 魅影直播 State College outdoor track & field team continued their busy schedule as they competed at the SUNY Brockport Invitational on Saturday. ASC was one of eight teams that competed in cool and damp conditions.
Pete Francia (Greece Olympia) and Carey Crooker (Addison) led the Pioneers with 2nd place finishes. Francia was 2nd in the 3,000 steeplechase in 10:10 while Crooker was 2nd in the 800 in 2:28.9.
John Sweeney (Barker) was 5th in the 5,000 (16:10.06) while teammate Joe Seitz (Williamsville) was 7th (16:24.16). Brandon Lewis (Red Creek) was 6th in the 400 finishing in 52.83.
On the women's side Christina Lossecco (Canisteo Greenwood) was 6th in the steeplechase (16:20).
The Pioneers head to SUNY Geneseo next Saturday to participate in the SUNY G Invitational.
