With the volleyball team leaving for Minnesota to compete in the national tournament this weekend, we decided to get some of their thoughts on the season.聽 The Lady Pioneers head into the tournament with a 36-3 record and are the fourth seed.聽

What would you say is the team's most important attribute this season that has enabled you to reach the National Tournament?

Heather Gerace:聽 The most important attribute would have to be the people.聽 Everybody plays a different role on the team and we work together well.

Breanna Horton:聽 Our heart and competitiveness, we never give up and we always have a competitive nature.

Jessica Suojanen:聽 A combination of discipline and working well together have brought us to nationals.

Brittany Skinner:聽 We pull together and everyone works well together.

Other than winning Regionals, what is your most memorable moment of the season?

JS:聽 Beating Jamestown on our home court.

HG:聽 We had some great times together off the court.

BS:聽 Beating Jamestown at home!

BH:聽 Beating Genesee for the conference title.

What are you most looking forward to at the National Tournament?

BH:聽 Being able to play against the highest level teams and flying for the first time.

BS:聽 I want to see what we can do when the pressure is really on.

JS:聽 Playing teams that we have never seen before to see how well we can adapt to a new team's strategy.

HG:聽 I look forward to the intensity of the play.
