The Pioneers shot 26.7% and turned the ball over 11 times in the 1st half to find themselves in a 42-23 hole at halftime. The Saints hit a three to start the 2nd half to establish a 22 point lead before the Pioneers went on a run over the next 17 minutes to get back in the game. After a 33 to 18 run, 魅影直播 State cut the lead to 60-56 with two minutes remaining. MNE hit their foul shots down the stretch and finished off the victory on a 10-1 run.
Pat Parker (Queens/Hillcrest) and Rasheem Creech (Brooklyn/Transit Tech) each finished with 14 for the Pioneers. Alex Hall (Jamaica/Forest Hill) added 10 points and nine rebounds, Thomas Stein (Caledonia Mumford) had seven points, and DaQuan Allen (Brooklyn/Boys & Girls) chipped in seven points and six assists.
Ben Jones led four Saints scorers in double figures with 21 points.
The blue & gold return home on Thursday when they host Monroe CC at 7:30 p.m. at the Orvis Activities Center.
