In pool play, ASC downed SUNY Delhi (25-20 & 25-6), Jamestown CC (25-23, 19-25, 15-10), and Jefferson CC (25-10, 25-16) to advance to championship play.聽 In the semis, the Pioneers defeated Corning CC, 25-12, 25-15.
Jenni Jerome (Syracuse/Westhill) finished with 39 digs, 37 kills, and five service aces while Yurika Toyodome (Tokyo, Japan) added 36 kills, 36 digs, five blocks, and four aces.
Miki Inoue (Kumamoto, Japan) finished with 50 digs, 14 kills, and 11 aces.聽 At one point, Inoue served 21 straight service points in the contest versus Jefferson.聽 Emily Linn (Portville) chipped in 31 kills, 27 digs, five blocks, and two aces, Breanna Horton (Owego Free) finished with 100 assists, 16 digs, 13 aces, and nine kills, and Chrisina Nolan (Niagara Wheatfield) finished with 27 digs.
The Lady Pioneers play their first home game on Tuesday when they host Monroe CC at 6 p.m. at the Orvis Activities Center.
