Washburn punted seven times for 274 yards and a 39.1 yard average.聽 Two of his punts landed inside the five yard line and he had a long of 53 yards.聽 He also contributed offensively with a 37-yard touchdown catch in the 3rd quarter.
Washburn shares the weekly honor with ECC's Corby Eason.聽 Erie's Brian Fowler was named聽NFC offensive player of the week while Mike McDonald from Lackawanna took the defensive honors.
A-State returns to action on Saturday with a 7 p.m. homecoming contest versus Erie CC.聽
