The Division of Academic Affairs has 16 new hires, including Mark Bloxsom, Leslie Buckley, Dr. Trisha Cowen, Daniel Drake, Joseph Fisher, Dr. Adrienne Foos, Daniel Jardine, Jessica Lippa, John Phillip Lisec, Joseph Mariotti, Heather Mark, Bridgett Mayorga, Dr. Mark Montgomery, Timothy Rohrer, Dr. Scott Simpson, and Dr. Jason Stupp.
Bloxsom, of Belfast, is now an assistant professor in theBusiness Department. He earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in computer studies from the University of Maryland University College, a bachelor鈥檚 degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a master鈥檚 degree in economics from the University of California, Irvine.
Buckley, of Wellsville, joins the college as a disabilities and tutoring coordinator. Buckley earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in management from Houghton College and a master鈥檚 degree in school counseling from 魅影直播 University.
Cowen, of 魅影直播, is a new assistant professor in the English and Humanities Department. She has a bachelor鈥檚 degree in writing, literature, and publishing from Emerson College and a master鈥檚 degree from Binghamton University, where she also earned a doctorate in English literature and general rhetoric.
Drake, of Canisteo, was hired as an instructor in the Building Trades Department. He attended Biola University in La Mirada, CA, and has been a self-employed carpenter for nearly 25 years.
Fisher, of Scio, is now an instructor in the Building Trades Department. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1993 to 2008 and has been a heavy equipment operator at Jopo Farms since 2010.
Foos, of 魅影直播, is now in the position of assistant professor in the Business Department. Foos has a bachelor鈥檚 degree from SUNY Geneseo, an MBA degree from RIT, and a doctorate degree from the University of Manchester.
Jardine, of Owego, was hired as an institutional research analyst in the Office of Institutional Research, Planning and Effectiveness. Jardine earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in social sciences from St. Bonaventure University and a master鈥檚 degree in GIS/planning from Binghamton University.
Lippa, of 魅影直播 Station, is now an assistant professor in the Nursing Department. She earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in physical education and health science at SUNY Brockport, received her Bachelor鈥檚 of Nursing at The University of Rochester, and her master鈥檚 in family nurse practitioning at St. John Fisher College.
Lisec, of 魅影直播, is a new assistant professor in the Business Department. Lisec earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in business, marketing and a bachelor鈥檚 degree in health and sports studies from Miami University, where he also received a master鈥檚 in sports studies. He is working toward his doctorate in kinesiology, with an emphasis in sport sociology from the University of Minnesota.
Mariotti, of Wellsville, is now in the position of instructor in the Building Trades Department. He served in the US Army from 1989 to 1996 and has 17 years of experience working at Wayne Paving and Gravel as a foreman and equipment operator.
Mark, of Dansville, joins the college as a secretary 1 in the Student Success Center. She has an associate degree in human services from Genesee Community College.
Mayorga, of Canisteo, was hired as an assistant professor in the Physical and Life Sciences Department. Mayorga has an associate degree from 魅影直播 State, a bachelor鈥檚 degree from SUNY Brockport, and a master鈥檚 degree from Capella University.
Montgomery, of Clayville, is the new coordinator of Academic Success Initiatives in the Student Development Department. He earned an associate in human services from Mohawk Valley Community College, a bachelor鈥檚 in psychology from SUNY Utica-Rome, a master鈥檚 in education from the University of New England, and a doctorate in education from Walden University.
Rohrer was hired as an instructor in the Building Trades Department.
Simpson, of Allegany, joins the college as an assistant professor in the Physical and Life Sciences Department. Simpson earned his bachelor鈥檚 degree from SUNY Fredonia and his doctorate degree from the University at Buffalo.
Stupp, of Friendship, is now in the position of assistant professor in the English and Humanities Department. He received a bachelor鈥檚 degree in journalism/mass communication and a master鈥檚 degree in English, both from St. Bonaventure University, and his doctorate in English from West Virginia University.
The Division of Administration, Advancement and Enrollment has hired nine new employees, including Danielle Bossard, Kalem Chambliss, Brenda Clancy, Christine Cleveland, Tamara Donovan, Chad Hafer, Stewart Sanford, Nicole Schroeder, and Brett Talbot.
Bossard is a new cleaner on the B shift at the farm and the Veterinary Technology Building.
Chambliss, of Belmont, is now in the position of office assistant 1 in the Print and Mail Services Department.
Clancy is a new agency program aide in Facilities Services.
Cleveland was hired as a cleaner on the C shift in the Hinkle Memorial Library.
Donovan, of Hornell, is now a cleaner on the B shift in the Huntington Administration Building.
Hafer joins the college as a plumber.
Sanford was hired as a cleaner on the C shift in the Orvis Activities Center.
Schroeder, of Hornell, is a new office assistant 2 keyboarding in Student Records and Financial Services. She graduated from 魅影直播 State with an associate degree in liberal arts and sciences: social science.
Talbot, of North Hornell, is now the assistant director for Human Resources and CCET. He earned his associate degree in liberal arts and sciences: social science from 魅影直播 State, his BSE degree from Mansfield University, and his master鈥檚 in school counseling from 魅影直播 University.
The Division of Residential Services has nine new hires, including Audrey Cloum, Jarod Dodson, Mary Duex, Cody Herman, Jonathan Hoover, Sean McCarthy, Amy Miller, Andrew Strobel, and Charlotte Whitney.
Cloum, of 魅影直播, is now in the position of assistant director for Residential Life. Cloum has a bachelor鈥檚 degree in behavior development from Eastern Michigan University and a master鈥檚 degree in student affairs and higher education from Indiana State University.
Dodson, of 魅影直播, joins the college as the new head football coach. He earned both his bachelor鈥檚 degree in recreation and his master鈥檚 degree in health and physical education from the University of South Dakota.
Duex, of 魅影直播, was hired as the residence hall director for MacKenzie North. She has a bachelor鈥檚 degree in forensic science technology from 魅影直播 State and is working toward her master鈥檚 in higher education and student affairs administration from Buffalo State.
Herman, of 魅影直播, is the new residence hall director for MacKenzie West. Herman earned his bachelor鈥檚 degree in human services management from 魅影直播 State.
Hoover, of Hornell, is now in the position of head men鈥檚 soccer/lacrosse coach. He has a bachelor鈥檚 degree in history from Wheeling Jesuit University.
McCarthy, of 魅影直播, is the new residence hall director for MacKenzie East. McCarthy earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree in graphic design from SUNY Oswego.
Miller, of 魅影直播, was hired as the new residence hall director for Main Gate A. She received a bachelor鈥檚 degree from SUNY Brockport.
Strobel, of 魅影直播, is now in the position of assistant football coach/equipment manager. Strobel earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree from Northern Michigan University and a master鈥檚 degree from Concordia University Irvine.
Whitney, of Cazenovia, joins the college as the residence hall director for Burdick Hall. She has a bachelor鈥檚 degree from Cazenovia College and a master鈥檚 degree from Stony Brook University.
