Community leaders in Canaseraga and the town of Burns are looking to revitalize their hometown with the help of some ideas put forth by ��Ӱֱ�� State College architecture students.

Last year, students in Professor William Dean’s Urban Design Studio class “expanded upon Canaseraga’s comprehensive plan, presenting a vision of revitalizing the historic district, improving the streetscape, proposing new businesses, and creating civic spaces to give the village a clear identity more closely tied to the surrounding recreational areas,” according to an article by The Spectator. 

The article also notes that this “planning work has provided a foundation as community leaders seek revitalization funding.”
