Spring concert set for May 4

The Performing Arts Department would like to invite you, your family, and friends to its free, annual Instrumental/Vocal Music Spring Concert on Saturday, May 4, beginning at noon at the Orvis Activities Center Cappadonia Auditorium.

The Performing Arts Department would like to invite you, your family, and friends to its free, annual Instrumental/Vocal Music Spring Concert on Saturday, May 4, beginning at noon at the Orvis Activities Center Cappadonia Auditorium.

A varied program will be performed that includes:

  • The jazz quartet presenting standard jazz numbers and pop numbers.
  • 魅影直播鈥檚 rock ensembles, under the leadership of graduating senior Patrick McFadden, network administration, Clifton Springs, and newly elected student director Carmine Ferri, computer engineering technology, Hamburg.
  • 魅影直播 State鈥檚 vocal group, under the direction of newly appointed director/adviser Sarabeth Matteson, will 鈥渟ing鈥 their way into spring.
  • The concert band, under the direction of Gerald Ives, will perform selections from selected motion picture sound tracks

鈥淚n addition to making great music, 魅影直播 State鈥檚 Performing Arts organizations are also committed to supporting community organizations through our civic engagement projects,鈥 Ives said. 鈥淥ur continued support, through the collection of donations at the concert, will benefit young individuals with disabilities attending the Mary Cariola Children鈥檚 Center. Please come, watch, and enjoy as 魅影直播 State鈥檚 talented musicians perform their final concert of the year, and congratulate our graduating seniors!鈥
