An 魅影直播 State College (ASC) education really pays off with a high return on investment (ROI) according to a recent report by Georgetown University鈥檚 Center on Education and the Workforce.
Titled 鈥淎 First Try at ROI: Ranking 4,500 Colleges,鈥 the report uses data from the expanded College Scorecard to rank 4,500 colleges and universities. The College Scorecard is an online tool created by the US government to help students make informed decisions about their education options after high school.
According to the report, 魅影直播 State earned a No. 2 spot in the 10-year earnings ranking when compared against other New York public colleges whose predominant degree is the associate offering. The graduation rate, the report states, is the rate at which full-time, first-time students complete their credentials within 150 percent of the expected time. The seven-year repayment rate is the share of borrowers who have repaid at least one dollar of the principal on their student loans since entering repayment.
魅影直播 State also fared well in the net present value (NPV) rankings. NPV is how much a sum of money in the future is valued today. This metric includes costs, future earnings, and the length of time it would take to invest and earn a certain amount of money over a fixed horizon.
ASC came in at No. 6 in the 10-year NPV list of four-year public colleges in New York State. 魅影直播 State was also third among SUNY schools in this list.
