The 魅影直播 State College (ASC) woodsmen team opened up the 2022 season with a strong showing at SUNY ESF. 魅影直播 State fielded a team in both the men鈥檚 and Jack and Jill divisions.
The men鈥檚 team finished second in the standings with 1,151 total points. The competition featured 14 different timber sports disciplines with the potential of scoring up to 100 points in each event. Paul Smith鈥檚 College took the team title with 1,223 points.
The 魅影直播 State Jack and Jill team finished 4th place. Paul Smith鈥檚 took the top spot in that competition as well.
魅影直播 State competed in the event with the SUNY ESF, Finger Lakes CC, SUNY Morrisville, Paul鈥檚 Smith鈥檚, SUNY Ranger School, and the University of Vermont.
Woodsmen head coach Scott Bingham was pleased with the success. 鈥淏ringing one of the smallest men鈥檚 programs to the event and only missing first place by 72 points, out of a possible 1,400, speaks volumes to our team鈥檚 tenacity. Our Jack and Jill鈥檚 team also did very well considering they had a team member replacement only five days prior to the event. I look forward to the continued development of our team as its members continue to hone their skills.鈥
The team will be back in action on April 16 at SUNY Cobleskill.
