Mikenna Riethmiller (North Collins, NY) was the Hi-Point Rider in both the AM and PM show as the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College Western Equestrian team competed at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ University’s Bromeley-Daggett Equestrian Center.
Mikenna Riethmiller (North Collins, NY) was the Hi-Point Rider in both the AM and PM show as the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College Western Equestrian team competed at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ University’s Bromeley-Daggett Equestrian Center.
Riethmiller earned 1st place in open horsemanship competition in both the AM and PM show and was 2nd in the morning and 3rd in the afternoon in the Level 2 ranch riding division.
Ashley Herbert (Spencerport, NY) also rode to a pair of 1st place finishes as well. She was 1st in the ranch riding in the morning and 1st in the level 2 division in the afternoon.
In the beginner division, Josh Gallo (East Meadow, NY) was 1st in the afternoon show while Molly Arnold (Dryden, NY), Bridgett Barrett (Cayuta, NY), Alyssa Burdick (Valley Falls, NY), and Jessalyn Corson (Appalachin, NY) all took home 2nd place honors in one of the shows.
Other results included:
• Sydnee Ganoung (Allegany, NY) – Level 1 division – 3rd in AM and 2nd in PM
• Anna Hauer (Pittsford, NY) – Rookie A division – 4th in AM
• Krystal McKinney (Thetford, VT) – Beginner division – 4th in AM and 4th in PM
• Louis Rivera (Manhattan, NY) - Beginner division – 3rd in AM and 5th in PM
• Abby Thomas (Lansing, NY) - Beginner division – 4th in AM and 4th in PM
After the semester break, the team returns to ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ University for their final competition of the regular season on Feb. 4, 2023.
