魅影直播 State College (ASC) will host the third annual Allegany County Startup Collegiate Pitch Competition on Saturday, April 1. Twelve teams, including five from ASC, have registered to compete. The live event will be held in Engineering Building room 215.
The Eco Guys, Inc., 魅影直播 State students Zackary Martin and David Benson, took home the first place prize last year.

We are just days away from the third annual Allegany County Startup Collegiate Pitch Competition hosted by 魅影直播 State College on Saturday, April 1, 2023. To help cultivate the next 鈥淎HA!鈥 moment, IncubatorWorks鈥 sponsors a collegiate competition each year with students from Allegany County鈥檚 three institutions of higher education 鈥 魅影直播 University, Houghton University, and 魅影直播 State College. The event will be streaming live on 魅影直播 State College鈥檚 YouTube page from 1 p.m. 鈥 4 p.m. at the following link: .
The teams of students have been working hard to identify a business need in our area and how they would solve a problem for their customer and turn that into a viable business. Students have had the guidance of knowledgeable industry and academic mentors along the way.
While the competition is held on April 1, it鈥檚 no April Fool鈥檚 joke as cash prizes are on the line with the top prize $5,000! The public is invited to participate in this live-streamed event by voting for your favorite team while watching it on YouTube.

The goal is also to engage and encourage young professionals to stay in Allegany County or the surrounding areas after graduation.

The competition is put on by a committee of partners from 魅影直播 University, Houghton University, 魅影直播 State College, IncubatorWorks, Allegany County, Western NY Wilds, the ACCORD Corporation, and the Western New York Incubator Network. The Center for Advanced Ceramic Technology (CACT) at 魅影直播 University and Sealing Devices Inc. with the School of Business for 魅影直播 University are also event sponsors.
