Amy Irvine, ’05, has been named one of the top 100 independent financial advisors in the United States by Investopedia. She is one of only nine on the list from New York.

The 2023 Investopedia100 celebrates independent financial advisors who are making significant contributions to critical conversations about financial literacy, investing strategies, life-stage planning, and wealth management. There are more than 100,000 independent financial advisors in the United States. The list highlights the country’s most engaged, influential, and educational advisors. 

Irvine is the founder and CEO of Rooted Planning Group in Corning, NY. Her company works virtually all over the United States helping clients. They are focused on providing clients with holistic financial advice tailored specifically to the client’s individual goals and life’s dreams. Their mission is to celebrate, strategize, and consult with clients every step of the way on their wealth journey. 

Irvine has been a national board member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, is a volunteer for Advisors Give Back and Savvy Ladies and is the vice president and a board member for Faith in Action. She also helped co-found the Southern Tier Women’s Financial Conference which is an annual event that has taken place since 2014.

Investopedia highlighted her podcast “Wine and Dime.” On the podcast, Irvine and her guest break down economic headlines, simplify wealth transfer tips, and explore tax planning information. She has written a book “Uncork Your Finances” from the tips discussed on her podcast.
