The 魅影直播 State archery team closed out the 2024 campaign at the USA Archery Collegiate Target Nationals hosted at Georgia Southern University (Statesboro, GA).
Ben Kingsley (Chittenango, NY), recently named a 2024 Academic All American and 2024 All-East archer, set a new team record for fixed pins with an impressive qualification score of 665 on Friday. Kingsley and Adam Winter (Clifton Park, NY), also recognized as All-East, both earned top twenty seedings going into elimination matches.

In the head-to-head rounds, Kingsley and Winter each won their first match against archers from William Carey and Pittsburgh, respectively, before thunderstorms caused multiple delays. After returning, each fell in razor-close battles to archers from Lindsey Wilson and Kentucky Christian College.

In the team rounds, the Pioneers trio of Kingsley, Winter, and Matthew Stungis (Neversink, NY) entered as the sixth seed. Shooting under the lights they defeated host Georgia Southern to advance to the quarterfinals. In the quarters they fell in a spirited match with Lindsey Wilson.
