The growing sport management program drew Satchel Page to ��Ӱֱ�� State. He is using the knowledge and experiences he gained in school as a VIP Account Associate at BetMGM.

“I wanted to become a successful graduate of a college and ��Ӱֱ�� State gave me the platform to do so.”

The sport management club and a job in the athletic department helped Satchel develop his skills and passions. “Some of my best memories at ��Ӱֱ�� State were organizing facility tours and all the duties I did in the athletic department from suiting up as the mascot to working behind the computer at games.”

“Being a leader in and out of the classroom was important to me and helped me get my first break in sports. I also learned accountability and how to expand my network while I was at ��Ӱֱ��.”

Satchel’s first job in professional sports was as an Inside Sales Representative with the Washington Football Team. He was quickly promoted to a Group Sales Account Executive. His experiences led to his new growth opportunity as a VIP Account Associate with BetMGM. 

“This experience has been unbelievable.”

Satchel encourages current ASC students to, “listen to your professors and learn to be flexible. Network with others in the field, use LinkedIn and try to get five minutes of somebody’s time to connect.”

��Ӱֱ�� State has taught Satchel to bet on himself.
