Western Equestrian finishes as Reserve High Point team in a pair of shows

The 魅影直播 State Western Equestrian team earned Reserve High Point honors for both shows to open the 2025 portion of their season. Ashley Wolfe (Painted Post, NY) rode to reserve high-point honors in the morning show.

Wolfe was second in Open Horsemanship and Reining in the morning show and equaled that performance with runner-up finishes in both categories in the afternoon show.

In the morning show, Abigail Hurd (Belmont, NY) won the Open Horsemanship competition and was fourth in Ranch Riding. Laura Mills (Greenwood, NY) also took the top spot in Beginner Horsemanship in the AM competition. Mackenzie Grosskopt (Niagara Falls, NY) was third in Rookie A. 

Abigail Hurd was second in Ranch Riding and third in Open Horsemanship in the afternoon show. Grosskopt was second in Rookie A, Madeline Cassanova (Cicero, NY) was second in Rookie B, and Hadley Amyot (Liverpool, NY) was second in Beginner.

The Pioneers are back in action on March 1 when they compete again at the Bromeley -Daggett Equestrian Center.
