魅影直播 State is offering free 30-hour non-credit microcredentials in heavy equipment welding, brake repair, A/C service and more. Tuition is covered by the Empire State Development Microcredentialing Options Enhancing the WNY Workforce Grant.
Each of the programs is set up with ten hours of self-paced online instruction. The online instruction allows students to watch the videos on their own schedule and review as much as they like. This instruction will be coupled with twenty hours of in-person lab work on the Wellsville campus. Class sizes are limited for each of the programs.

Students in Advanced Hydrostatic Transmissions will be able to perform basic diagnosis and service of hydrostatic transmissions in construction and related heavy equipment.
Advanced Powertrain Dynamics will learn to perform basic diagnosis and service of transmissions and related systems in heavy equipment.
Basic Weld Methods students will be able to use cutting torches and plasma cutters and understand repair processes for related equipment.
Emission students will be able to perform basic diagnosis and services of emissions and related systems in construction vehicles and related equipment.
Students in Rigging and Lifting will understand operational requirements, and relationship with OSHA 1910.179 regulations.
Heavy-Duty HVAC students will be trained for Section 609 certification and basic HVAC systems work.
Students in Heavy Duty Brakes will be able to perform basic diagnosis, service, and adjustment to construction vehicles and related heavy equipment.
