For over 30 years, the Bethesda Foundation has been a major supporter of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State’s nursing and health-related programs, having generously donated funds for grants, scholarships, and major projects.

Finishing in the top 10 in a national competition category is nothing new for ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State’s Andrea Koston. 

Facing 120 other teams, the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State squad competed in the event for the third straight year in its 1953 Dodge Power Wagon tow truck.

Following expenses, proceeds of more than $29,000 were raised that will benefit the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College Development Fund Inc., to provide for student scholarships, athletics, and other needs of the college.

University Police recently added Officer Mario J. Dragone as the newest member of the police department.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State Provost Dr. Kristin Poppo has announced the dean’s list of academically impressive students for spring 2017. To be listed, students must have completed at least 12 credit hours for the semester and earned a 3.5 grade point average (GPA) out of a possible 4.0.

In its inaugural year, the Archers of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ earned a grant from USA Archery to assist with long-term program development. ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State is one of only 26 clubs in the country to receive a collegiate archery program grant.

Executive Vice President Valerie Nixon received the Robert J. Wagner Business Officer of the Year Award at the annual conference of the State University of New York Business Officers Association (SUBOA). While Nixon serves as president of SUBOA, association members kept it a secret to surprise Nixon with their highest award.
