An ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College (ASC) relief team, nine students and three staff members, spent the week before Christmas in Fort Myers, FL helping communities continue the cleanup from Hurricane Ian. The trip was in conjunction with the All Hands & Hearts organization.

The heart of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College (ASC) is delivering quality education that helps students develop real world skills. Hands-on learning takes place in the classrooms and in the labs helping Pioneers launch their careers.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College president Dr. Steven Mauro has been named to the NCAA Division III Presidents Council. He is the first AMCC president or chancellor to be selected to serve in this leadership role.

The State University of New York announced that John B. King, Jr. is now named to become 15th Chancellor of SUNY. ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College (ASC) and President Dr. Steven Mauro are excited to work with King as he begins his role in January.

As we join friends and family this week to celebrate Thanksgiving, I wanted to express how thankful I am to be a part of this hardworking and dedicated team. We not only provide our students with a quality education, but we support them in our caring community.

On this and every Veterans Day it is important to remember that the freedoms we enjoy are not guaranteed. They are and have been protected by the men and women in our Armed Services. 

In a ceremony that celebrated the pride, purpose, and promise of ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College, Dr. Steven Mauro was inaugurated the 13th president of the college.

On Thursday, the bells will once again be ringing at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College (ASC) just in time for the inauguration of Dr. Steven Mauro as president.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College (ASC) students, graduates, faculty, staff, and community members are looking forward to the inauguration of Steven Mauro, PhD, as the thirteenth president on October 20. One person with an interesting perspective fits each one of these categories.
