Although she initially chose to study nursing at the urging of her parents, Olufunmilola Olojede discovered her passion for the field at 魅影直播 State.
Specifically, she enjoys being able to help people, to feel like she could save somebody鈥檚 life, and also having the opportunity to not just learn, but to also apply the processes in clinical experiences.
鈥淚 love the real-world learning aspect of my major so much. It made me fall in love with nursing so much more because I was able to do exactly what a nurse did. I am able to communicate with and get support from my patients when I tell them I鈥檓 in the nursing program, which they admire because it鈥檚 not an easy program to be in.鈥
Once she graduates, Olufunmilola plans on seeking a position at a hospital in Rochester, and then working toward her master鈥檚 degree. Though she admits nursing requires a lot of hard work, she acknowledges that it pays off in the end.
