Like many 魅影直播 State students, Robert Mahany鈥檚 education extends outside the classroom walls.
As an intern at a Tonawanda-based mechanical contractor, he was able to get hands-on project management experience, which he also received this summer at an internship in Washington, DC with a leading international infrastructure group. Whether he鈥檚 learning the theory or putting it into practice, Robert knows he is being prepared well for the next step after graduation.
鈥淭he stuff that we do in class relates 100 percent to the job. We learn what to do and then we get to go out there and do it, and that鈥檚 the fun part.鈥
Robert is also able to enhance his education through his involvement on campus as captain of the men鈥檚 soccer team, a resident assistant, an Emerging Pioneers Leadership Program graduate, a leadership assistant, and a member of the 魅影直播 Programming Board.
