Online Student Checklist

We are here to support you through all of the steps to enrolling at ��Ӱֱ�� State. The first step is to explore the portal. The portal buttons will help guide you through your checklist, and you can even view/print your detailed acceptance letter!

Your username and password is on your Deposit Instructions sheet in your acceptance packet.

Make sure to log onto and check your ��Ӱֱ�� State email regularly. Updates and important information on financial aid and billing, course registration, and more are being sent to your ��Ӱֱ�� State email.

First Steps

When you are ready, the next step will be to pay your enrollment deposit to secure your place in your major and any scholarships you may have been awarded.

If you’re beginning your studies in the fall semester, course registration can be done mid-April once your enrollment deposit has been paid. If you’re beginning in the spring semester, registration information is contained in your acceptance folder. Contact the appropriate department to begin the process and request a registration PIN. See below for contact information.

Please note that most students will be required to complete an online student readiness course prior to beginning classes. There is no cost and information on this course will be sent to you if you are required to complete it. Questions regarding the online readiness course can be directed to the Center for Online Learning, onlinelearning@alfredstate.edu, 607-587-3458.
