The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's basketball team improved to 6-1 on the season with a 83-75 victory over Cuyahoga (OH) CC on Friday evening.  Five Pioneers finished in double-figures in the victory.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College volleyball team is in action all day at the NJCAA Division III National Championships in Rochester, MN.  The Lady Pioneers are making their first appearance in the National Tournament since 1977. 

WINS Annual Women in the Field Dinner

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College WINS (Women in Non-traditional Studies-- though the Club is open to all students) Club hosted two alumnae visitors to campus earlier this month to talk to the WINS Club members during the 16th annual Women in the Field Dinner.

Pioneers fall to Monroe in the Pool

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's swimming team hung tough with Monroe CC but fell 111-80 in their lone home meet of the 2007-08 season.  On the women's side, the two Lady Pioneers swimmers netted 37 points but fell 97-37.

ASC Among Top 10 Construction Schools

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College has been named to the top 10 undergraduate construction schools in Michael Nelson's inaugural rankings of the top undergraduate construction management and construction engineering programs in the nation.

Lounsberry Moderates Panel

Dr. Gary Lounsberry, associate professor, Social and Behavioral Sciences Department at ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College, recently moderated a research panel presenting a series of papers on the theme "Evidence-based Practice in Public Health Social Work" at the annual conference of the American Public Health Association meeting in Washington, D.C., Nov. 3-7, 2007.

A-State Downs Cayuga

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's basketball team got contributions from everyone as they downed Cayuga CC 66-51 on Tuesday evening.  All eleven players that dressed for the Pioneers scored as the Blue and Gold improved to 5-1 on the season.

Lady Pioneers even up record

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's basketball team evened up their record with a 67-43 victory over Cayuga CC on Tuesday evening.  The Lady Pioneers are improve to 2-2 on the year while the Lady Spartans fall to 2-2.
