÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥

Thanks to the support of more than 200 donors and the SUNY Impact Foundation, ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College will provide $100,000 to its students in need through the Support Our Students (SOS) Emergency Fund.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College (ASC) announces today that it will not require an SAT or ACT score from prospective students applying for the 2020-21 and 2021-22 academic years.

The Allegany County Area Foundation and the Allegany County United Way recently awarded ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College a grant for its food pantry program. 

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College’s own Austin Ainslie is one of 12 students who were recently named recipients of the Garage Gurus® Automotive Technical Scholarship.

A recent article by Investor’s Business Daily shines the spotlight on ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State alumnus and Paychex founder Tom Golisano and his path to success.

Provost Dr. Kristin Poppo said, “During this exceedingly difficult time, ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State is so appreciative of the grant from the Garman Family Foundation to our SOS Fund, which will benefit students adversely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic."

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State will offer in-person instruction and a fully operating residential campus with classes beginning Aug. 24.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College is partnering with the Wellsville Central School District to distribute 300 free boxes of food to the community this summer through the USDA Farmers to Families Food Box program.

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College recently presented David Chilson, an instructional support assistant in the Building Trades Department, with the Student Advocate Award.

The inaugural Startup Allegany Collegiate Competition, scheduled for this past April but postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, is back on the calendar and will be held in the spring of 2021.
