The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's basketball team had four players finish in double-figures as they improved to 4-0 on the year with a 66-54 victory over Corning CC. The Red Barons fall to 2-2 on the year.
Lady Pioneers down Corning

Tiffany McLaughlin (Wellsville) and Anthia Smith (Elmira Free) led the ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's basketball team to a 70-57 victory over Corning CC on Thursday night in the Lady Pioneers home opener. A-State evens up their record at 1-1 on the young season while Corning is now 2-2.

Williamson Named All-Region

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College sophomore Zak Williamson (Rocky Point) has ran his way to 1st team All-Region honors. Williamson led the Pioneers to a 4th place finish at the Region III Championships and will lead the men's team in this weekend's NJCAA Division III Championship.
A-State falls to Mercyhurst

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College wrestling team couldn't climb out of an early hole and fell in their season opening dual match 30-12 to Mercyhurst North East.

Braun and Jerome Named 1st Team All-Region

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College volleyball players Elaina Braun (Waterloo) and Jenni Jerome (Syracuse/Westhill) were named 1st team All-Region at this past weekend's Region III Division III Tournament. Braun and Jerome along with their teammates have had a banner year winning 35 of 39 matches and qualifiying for the NJCAA Division III National Championships.

about different careers, and learn how to interact with those folks in the

Lady Pioneers the #6 Seed at Nationals

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College volleyball team, currently 35-4, will be the #6 seed in the NJCAA Division III National Championships. The Lady Pioneers will play in Pool B beginning on Friday, November 16.

McMahon named Player of the Year

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College sophomore outside hitter Brianne McMahon (Buffalo/Sweet Home) has been named the Region III Division III Player of the Year for the second year in a row.
Lady Pioneers Fall in Opener

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College women's basketball team could not overcome 30 turnovers and saw Broome CC rally for a 63-57 victory in the Lady Pioneers season opener. Broome improves to 3-0 on the young season with the victory.
Marshall's Three Lifts Pioneers to Win

Dusty Marshall (Newfield) hit a three-pointer with 36 seconds remaining to give ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State a 68-67 lead en route to a 70-69 victory over Broome CC on Tuesday evening. The win improves the Pioneers to 3-0 on the year while the Hornets fall to 1-2.

Chisolm to play in JUCO All-Star Game

÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College sophomore cornerback John Chisolm (Trenton, NJ) has been selected to play in the Inaugural Triumphant Sports Bowl. The Triumphant Sports Bowl will feature 55 players from NJCAA schools taking on 55 players from California Community College Athletic Association schools in Mesa, AZ.

Longenecker places at UB Open

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College wrestling team opened up their 2007-08 season at the University of Buffalo Open. The Pioneers wrestled athletes from some of the top programs in the Northeast and sophomore Gallaway Longenecker (Manheim, PA) placed in the 133 lb. competition.

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College men's basketball team started their 2007-08 campaign with a 90-70 victory over Rockland CC in the first day of the Monroe CC Classic on Saturday evening.
Pios fall in Season Finale

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College football team jumped out to a 14-0 lead but Nassau CC bounced back and turned things around en route to a 47-14 victory on Saturday. The loss ends the Pioneeers season with a 3-7 record while the Lions end the season with a 7-3 record.
Swim team Impresses in Season Opener

The ÷ÈÓ°Ö±²¥ State College swimming team opened up the 2007-08 season in impressive style with a strong showing at the Genesee CC Harvest Invitational. The men's team finished 1st out of five teams while the women finished 4th out of six teams.
