Baseball Advances to WNYAC Final Four

The 魅影直播 State College baseball team scored two runs in the bottom of the 8th en route to a 3-2 victory over Niagara CCC in a WNYAC first round match-up played on the turf at Bolivar Richburg High School. The Pioneers advance to the final four to be played Saturday at Dwyer Stadium in Batavia.

The 魅影直播 State College women's soccer team moved up two spots in the latest NJCAA Division III poll. ASC is now ranked #8 after debuting last week in the 10th spot. Lady Pioneer goalie Mo Parks (Avoca) was named the NJCAA Division III goalie of the week as well.
Women's Soccer records 7th shutout

The 魅影直播 State College women's soccer team recorded its seventh shutout of the season, 2-0 over JCC-Olean on Tuesday evening. The win for the 10th ranked NJCAA Division III squad improves their record to 7-1-2 overall and 6-1-1 in Region III Division III play.

Recently three members of the 魅影直播 State College women's soccer team answered some questions from the Sports Information Department to give an inside look at Lady Pioneer soccer. Sophomore defenders Audrey Rath (Medina), Chelsea Lafayette (Eastridge), and Jackie Matteson (Greece Arcadia) have been a big reason ASC has allowed just three goals in the first nine games.

John Sweeney (Barker) and Carey Crooker (Addison) have been named the NJCAA Division III runners of the week. In the newly released national poll the men's team sits in 3rd and the women in 5th.

Baseball Earns 4th seed in WNYAC Tournament

The 魅影直播 State College baseball team will head into the WNYAC fall tournament as the #4 seed and will take on #5 Niagara CCC in the first round. Due to the poor recent weather and forecast the game will be played on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Bolivar Richburg High School's turf field.

魅影直播 State College and Jamestown CC split a WNYAC doubleheader on homecoming Saturday. The Jayhawks won the opener 3-2 but the Pioneers won game two 2-1 in 10 innings. ASC is now 7-5 on the season.

Xavier Makell (Baltimore, MD) rushed in from 12-yards out with 5:59 remaining in the game to lift 魅影直播 State to a 8-3 homecoming victory over Globe Institute of Technology. The victory was the lowest scoring victory in Pioneer football history.

The 魅影直播 State College cross country teams fared very well as they competed versus a mostly four-year school field at the Highlander Invitational at Houghton College. The men finished 4th out of 12 scoring teams while the women finished 6th out of 11.

Men's Soccer Wins OT Thriller

The 魅影直播 State College men's soccer team scored rallied for a 2-1 overtime victory over Broome CC on Thursday afternoon. Justin Handley (Iroquois) netted the game winner with 1:46 remaining in the first overtime to run the Pioneers winning streak to three games.

In a battle of two NJCAA Division III top ten teams, Broome CC scored the lone goal of the game with 1:28 remaining in the first overtime to earn the victory over 魅影直播 State. The Lady Pioneers, ranked #10, fall to 5-1-2 on the season while the Lady Hornets, the two-time defending NJCAA Division III champion and currently ranked #4, improve to 8-2 on the season.
