ACEC New York Awards Scholarships to Engineering Students in NYS Colleges

魅影直播 State College student Patrick VanHaverbeke, Wellsville, was among 17 high-achieving engineering students attending New York State colleges and universities who will receive $45,000 collectively in scholarship money from member firms of the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York. The individual scholarship awards range from $2,500 to $5,000.
Ed Foundation Funds Work-Grant Program at ASC

The Educational Foundation of 魅影直播, Inc., annually funds up to eight 魅影直播 State College students through its work-grant program, allowing students who are ineligible for work-study funds to find employment on campus. The grant is renewable on an annual basis.

Kellogg Honored For 40 Years of Service

Dr. Kellogg joined the 魅影直播 State faculty in 1970 after completing doctoral studies at the University of Rochester. He is the author of three books on Sherlock Holmes and is a frequent contributor to popular magazines and professional journals.

Fifty-six students representing nine regional high schools recently participated in the second annual 魅影直播 State Technology Challenge on the 魅影直播 State campus. This year鈥檚 event was a robotics competition. Armed with robot kits donated by 魅影直播 State College and criteria for a business plan, given to each team during a meet-and-greet event earlier in the semester, the 11 teams鈥 robots

魅影直播 State College recently conducted a 鈥淭ake Back the Night鈥 program on campus to raise awareness about domestic abuse. More than 80 students marched through campus chanting 鈥淭ake Back the Night, 魅影直播 State Unite鈥 following a slide show and reading of real sexual assault stories.

Ashley Kehoe, formerly of Chicago, assumed her position April 1.

Local Educator Selected to Participate in AP Program Reading

Track Athletes Grab National Honors

Five 魅影直播 State outdoor track & field athletes have raced to NJCAA Division III All-Americans while six athletes earned All-Region honors. The Pioneer men's team finished 9th in the nation and 4th in Region III while the women were tied for 10th in the nation and 4th in Region III.
ASC set to host Summer Sports Festival

Students and faculty of 魅影直播 State College are working closely with Atlantic Richfield (AR), a BP-affiliated company, to design and install a solar-powered telemetry system to monitor water levels at a wetland treatment system created by AR at a former Sinclair Refinery in Wellsville.
