The ��Ӱֱ�� State Performing Arts organizations will present their annual spring concert on Saturday, May 3 at 11 a.m. in the Cappadonia Auditorium.

The ��Ӱֱ�� Cup, sponsored by the Power and Construction Group, Inc. and ServU Credit Union, will be an annual competition between ��Ӱֱ�� University and ��Ӱֱ�� State athletic teams.

Overcast skies did not slow down annual Hot Dog Day festivities. ��Ӱֱ�� State, ��Ӱֱ�� University, and the community enjoyed the latest rendition of the tradition started in 1972.

“This new space will allow us to continue our growth trajectory at ��Ӱֱ�� State, and in this case, literally place them in the driver’s seat to become a pro. This is all part of our continued investment in our students to give them the latest technology that makes them so in demand upon graduation.”

Twenty high school students participating in the New York State Animal and Agricultural Leadership (AAL) Program visited ��Ӱֱ�� State recently.

This is a cool event, and our students have a whole bunch of fun getting to work on expensive cars in their college class. It is their first experience getting into a car and doing a full check on a brand-new car and making sure it is ready to hit the racetrack.”

A quartet of ��Ӱֱ�� State students competed at the 23rd Annual National Dairy Challenge Contest hosted by the University of Florida on April 6-8, 2025. 

“Hot Dog Week festivities allow our student body to come together with the community, not just to celebrate the end of the semester, but also to fundraise for worthy charities. We have activities planned to start on Monday, culminating Saturday with our 4th Annual Spring Carnival. We are looking forward to our students enjoying this tradition!”

Thirty-three ��Ӱֱ�� State students participated in the 2025 Showmanship Day held at the college farm. The contest featured dairy, beef, sheep, and goat competitions.

"The convention has been the largest networking opportunity our club has had at ��Ӱֱ�� State. We were given the chance to meet with leaders and pioneers of the industry who have shared an abundance of know edge and information.”

For the 2024-2025 academic year, the Educational Foundation provided $185,000 to support students financially through scholarship awards.

Six ��Ӱֱ�� State students were recently inducted in Chi Alpha Epsilon (XAE) national honor society. This was the thirteenth induction held by ��Ӱֱ�� State’s Delta Chi Chapter.

“We have some very motivated student leaders and supportive faculty and staff that help to make these events possible. These opportunities were created with the hope of engaging not only the campus community but the whole ��Ӱֱ�� community. I am proud of the efforts of our student body, and I look forward to an exciting month of events.”
