MET Students Complete Electric Car Project

The newly retooled car can travel 50 miles per charge, dependent on terrain and driving habits; can reach a top speed of 81 mph; can achieve 0-60 mph in 28 seconds. The car can be charged in four hours to charge on 220Volts, and eight hours on 115Volts.

Taylor and Johnson named All-American

魅影直播 State College sophomore safety Sir Aaron Taylor (Westchester/Lincoln Hall) and freshman punter Colter Johnson (Warren, PA) have been named to the NJCAA All-American team. This is the third time in Coach Mick Caba鈥檚 tenure that two players have been named All-American in the same year.
CANstuction Competition Held in Rochester, NY

ASC Awarded $60,000 Grant 鈥 Adds Five Emergency Sirens

鈥淭hree of the units will be added to the 魅影直播 campus, while two others will be placed on the Wellsville campus,鈥 said Greg Sammons, Chief of Police and coordinator of the grant application. 鈥淥nce in place, the four sirens on the 魅影直播 campus and two on the Wellsville campus will significantly enhance the volume of the sirens for people walking anywhere between buildings and in many cases, will penetrate the buildings and reach indoor classrooms and offices quite well.

Five students at 魅影直播 State College were recently inducted as charter members into the ASC Chapter of Mu Alpha Theta, a national mathematics honor society for high schools and two-year colleges. They were presented with certificates and membership cards during the induction ceremony.

The 魅影直播 State College wrestling team spent the weekend competing at Niagara CCC. On Friday, the Pioneers lost a close dual meet with Penn State DuBois 25-22 and then had four wrestlers finish in the top five of the Niagara Open on Saturday.

Frey Signs with Delaware State

魅影直播 State College sophomore baseball player JP Frey (Erie, PA/McDowell) has signed a letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Delaware State University. Frey made his decision during the early signing period and will join the Hornets in the fall of 2011.
