Mathematics and Physics Department, 魅影直播 State College, has been selected to participate in the annual reading and scoring of the College Board鈥檚 Advanced Placement Examinations in June. He will be reading the calculus exams for the ninth consecutive year.

The Dining Services team at 魅影直播 State College has won a Gold Award from the National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS) for a special event it hosted at the college in March.

Two Engineering Students Awarded Scholarships by ACEC NEW YORK

Seventeen engineering students attending New York State colleges and universities will receive $45,000 collectively in scholarship money from member firms of the American Council of Engineering Companies of New York (ACEC New York). 15 Tracksters Earn All-American Honors

Fifteen members of the 魅影直播 State College outdoor track & field team earned All-American honors at the 2011 NJCAA Division III National Championships held at Pioneer Stadium. All fifteen athletes earned 2nd team honors with 2nd place finishes in their respective events.

魅影直播 State College sophomores JP Frey (Erie, PA) and Kevan Smith (Cicero North Syracuse) were both named 1st team All-Region selections this past weekend. Frey and Smith helped the Pioneers to a 14-14 mark this spring.

Leadership, Sportsmanship, and Academic Awards Handed Out

The 魅影直播 State College athletic department handed out the Leadership, Sportsmanship, and Academic awards recently at the college's annual end of year banquet. Cody Dill (Unatego) and Angela Depew (Wellsville) were the recipients of the leadership award, Andy Jones (Milford) and Amber Harding (Fillmore) received the sportsmanship awards, and Alex Farrell (N. Tonawanda), Charise Nankivell (Hornell), and Andrea Presher (Prattsburgh) won the academic awards.

Presiding over the ceremony, which was held at McLane Center on neighboring 魅影直播 University鈥檚 campus, was Dr. John M. Anderson, college president.

Longtime AD Kathy Feldman Retires

Tara Murphy (Rochester/Wilson) and Colter Johnson (Warren, PA) were named the 2011 魅影直播 State College freshman athletes of the year. Murphy ran to All-American honors in track & field while Johnson punted his way to All-American on the football gridiron.
