The 魅影直播 State baseball team collected 27 hits in a doubleheader with Finger Lakes CC but the Lakers offense was just as productive in a sweep of a Region III Division III doubleheader, 15-10 in nine innings and 16-3.

The 魅影直播 State outdoor track & field team registered ten victories in day two of the Region III Championships held at SUNY Delhi. The Pioneer men finished 2nd in the standings out of five teams while the women placed 4th.
FLCC Rallies in Both Games to Down Pioneers

Finger Lakes CC rallied in the 5th inning of both games of a Region III Division III doubleheader to defeat 魅影直播 State 4-2 & 10-4 on Saturday afternoon. In the opener, 魅影直播 led 2-1 heading into the 5th before the Lakers scored three to take the lead for good and in the nightcap the Pioneers led 4-2 before the Lakers scored three in the 5th en route to the victory.

The 魅影直播 State softball team split a doubleheader at Columbia Greene CC on Saturday. CGCC won the opener 13-5 while the Pioneers won the nightcap 9-4.
Pioneers Down #9 HVCC in Season Finale

The 魅影直播 State lacrosse team was able to come out on top of a close home contest for the first time this season. The Pioneers defeated #9 ranked Hudson Valley CC 11-10 to close out the season with a 7-9 mark. The Pioneers had lost four close home contests earlier in the season by a combined four goals.

Eighty-three animals have been adopted from the Hornell Area Humane Society and 18 from the SPCA Serving Allegany County in Wellsville, NY. Eighteen of the adoptions were by faculty, staff, or students since August 2011.

Erie CC defeated 魅影直播 State 12-4 in a Region III Division III baseball game played at Maple City Park on Thursday. The second game of the doubleheader was called due to rain and poor field conditions prior to the game reaching an official game.

Streater has NFL Dreams

Former 魅影直播 State football player Rod Streater hopes to hear his name announced from the podium of the 2012 NFL Draft at Radio City Music Hall this weekend. Streater, who wore the Pioneer blue & gold in 2008 and 2009 before transferring to Temple University, wrapped up his collegiate playing career in December with a touchdown catch in Temple鈥檚 win in the New Mexico Bowl
Pioneers Stung by Hornets

The 魅影直播 State lacrosse team fell behind early but rallied to tie their contest with Broome CC at 8-8 late in the 3rd quarter but the Hornets scored the next four goals and held off the Pioneers attempts to rally to stay alive for the postseason with a 12-10 victory. The Pioneers are now 6-9 overall (5-8 Region III) heading into their season finale on Saturday while BCC improves to 7-8 (6-7 RIII).

The 魅影直播 State track & field team heads into the postseason this weekend with top five spots in the latest NJCAA Division III poll. The men's team moved up a spot to #3 while the women dropped two spots to #5 in the weekly poll.

Pioneer Woodsmen鈥檚 Team Hosts Pioneer Games

魅影直播 State鈥檚 Pioneer Woodsmen鈥檚 Team recently hosted the second-annual Pioneer Games on the 魅影直播 campus, and brought home a first-place victory overall with one of its four teams. A total of 19 teams with 133 participants met for competition.

This weekend's baseball four-game series vs. Finger Lakes CC has flip-flopped home dates. Saturday's DH will now be played at Finger Lakes CC with a 1 p.m. first pitch. Sunday's DH will now be played at 魅影直播 with a start of 1 p.m. (If the field at 魅影直播 is still unplayable on Sunday, the game will be played at Bolivar Richburg High School).

This year鈥檚 convocation also featured the presentation of Leadership through Civic Engagement Awards from the College Council to nine student leaders and faculty/staff members Mark Payne, Dr. Douglas Pierson, and Wendy Dresser-Recktenwald.

The 魅影直播 State lacrosse team outscored Jefferson CC 13-0 in the 2nd and 3rd quarter to earn a 22-7 victory over Jefferson CC. The Pioneers have now won three straight and are now 6-8 overall and 5-7 in Region III play.

The 魅影直播 State baseball team trailed twice in game two of the second game of a Region III Division III doubleheader at Corning CC but was able to rally for a 4-3 victory to salvage a split. The Red Barons jumped out to an early 9-0 lead in the opener en route to a 12-2 victory in the opener.
