Fifth annual Relay for Life raises more than $23,000 in fight against cancer

2015 Relay for Life participantsAccording to Krystal Perlman, campus official and adviser to the student-run 魅影直播 State Relay for Life Planning Committee, this year鈥檚 Relay goal of $11,000 was 鈥渂lown out of the water鈥 by the $23,298 that was raised. A total of 283 people participated as part of 19 teams, far surpassing the planning committee鈥檚 goal of 200 participants.

He has served on numerous national committees and currently is co-chair of the Committee on Astrobiology and Planetary Science that advises the federal government on matters of space exploration.

We鈥檝e also gotten a lot of opportunities to go to big polo games. The door is just open with this sport and it鈥檚 really quite amazing, the little community that polo has.鈥

Julie Hart, President Dr. Skip Sullivan, and Dr. Craig ClarkThe Educational Foundation of 魅影直播, Inc. on Feb. 20 signed a contract that leases land on campus designated for the center to the State University of New York (SUNY) for 30 years. This move was required to allow the NYSUNY 2020 Challenge Grant Program funds to be used to construct the building, according to Dr. Craig Clark, executive director and dean of the School of Applied Technology.

Employers came from as far away as California and Texas, with several also coming from Rochester and Buffalo.

2015 魅影直播 State Cyber Defense Team鈥滣扔爸辈 State has been competing at the NECCDC since 2010 and was the only team that did not have graduate students, so a third-place finish is a remarkable accomplishment and further proves that 魅影直播 State offers a top-tier cybersecurity and information technology education program,鈥 said Coach Jim Boardman, assistant professor and chair of the Computer and Information Technology Department.
