Symposium tackles upcoming presidential election

Titled 鈥淧residential Election 2016,鈥 the evening鈥檚 center point was a conversation with 魅影直播 University Professor Emeritus Dr. Robert Heineman, and 魅影直播 State Professor of Social and Behavioral Sciences Dr. Rex Olson regarding the prolonged, and often contentious political campaign between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.

Day of Giving to launch Nov. 29

In helping to reach its goal of $50,000 from at least 300 donors Nov. 29, 魅影直播 State is making it as easy as possible for people to give. Donations can be made online at , or over the phone when speaking to one of the college鈥檚 volunteer callers that day. Also, any donations received between Nov. 1 and 29 will be held until the Day of Giving, so people can get a head start on being a part of the action.

Honors Program students discover exciting journey of The Great Race

Honors Program members learned details of the trip from the student team, including that lack of trailer space for the return trip at the end of the race required the students to drive to 魅影直播 from Moline, thus completing a cross-country journey in the 1953 vehicle. Students were treated to a lap around campus in the vintage truck.
