Amazing scientific projects were recently featured in ��Ӱֱ�� State’s 18th annual Science and Technology Fair.

The new healthcare management program allows a student to build on their associate degree to complete a bachelor’s degree 100 percent online. This new degree completion program is designed for professionals who want to enhance their skills for promotions or additional employment opportunities.

The State University of New York Board of Trustees appointed Dr. Kristina M. Johnson as the 13th chancellor of SUNY.

Automotive Trades Department will be hosting a new driver awareness seminar and child safety seat inspection.

Thanks to the support of partners such as SwiftLift, ��Ӱֱ�� State is able to offer its students some very valuable educational learning opportunities, the latest of which comes through the donation of a Toyota electric forklift.

Students pursuing careers in law enforcement and public safety now have both two- and four-year degree options at ��Ӱֱ�� State, with the recent addition of a Bachelor of Science (BS) in criminal justice.

Having devised a plan that outlines their vision for the future of Wellsville, four fourth-year ��Ӱֱ�� State architecture students recently presented their work as part of a poster session at the 2017 New York Statewide Preservation Conference in Rochester.

Faculty, staff, students, community members, and friends of the college had all gathered to honor former president Dr. John Anderson through the unveiling of a portrait of him that will permanently hang in the Student Leadership Center.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State Choir Alumni organization will present its 66th annual spring concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 23 in the Anthony C. Cappadonia Auditorium in the Orvis Activities Center on the ��Ӱֱ�� campus.

Looking to prepare the construction workforce leaders of tomorrow, ��Ӱֱ�� State is pleased to announce that it is now offering an upper-division program in construction supervision. Classes for this major will begin in the fall 2017 semester.

State University of New York Chancellor Nancy L. Zimpher honored 256 SUNY students from across the state in Albany recently with the 2017 Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence, including two recipients from ��Ӱֱ�� State.

The ��Ӱֱ�� State Honors Program partnered with the college’s Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences recently to host “President Donald Trump: The First 60 Days.”

Students in the soils class at ��Ӱֱ�� State will hold a free pH clinic for the community.

The 2017 SkillsUSA New York State Leadership and Skills Conference Postsecondary Championship pitted 50 students from three schools against each other in one of the nation’s most prestigious showcases of career and technical aptitude. 

In celebration of the rich history and legacy of performing arts at ��Ӱֱ�� State, the college’s Department of Performing Arts will be hosting a weeklong series of events from April 23-29.

��Ӱֱ�� State’s William Dean, professor in the Department of Architecture and Design, and Jonathan Hilsher, director of the Center for Civic Engagement, recently presented their jointly authored paper titled “Generating Discipline-Based Community Impact through Academic and Student Affairs Collaboration” as part of the 105th ACSA Annual Meeting in Detroit.
