Looking to ensure the continuation of accessible, high-quality education at SUNY and CUNY schools, members of the SUNY Student Assembly recently gathered at ��Ӱֱ�� State for a campaign event in support of the Maintenance of Effort (MOE) bill.

The stations now include a balance beam, push-up bar, horizontal ladder/monkey bars, pull-up bars, and a sit-up bar/bench.

In 2010, approximately 24 percent of all students were enrolled for bachelor’s degrees, compared to 48 percent of all ��Ӱֱ�� State Pioneers today.

��Ӱֱ�� State students interested in restoring classic cars now have the opportunity to apply for one of two scholarships worth $2,500, thanks to a $5,000 donation from the RPM Foundation.

AffordableColleges.com has recognized ��Ӱֱ�� State for quality and affordability in two of its most recent rankings. The organization named the college to its list of top out-of-state public schools in the US, and has also ranked ��Ӱֱ�� State among 50 institutions with the most affordable online bachelor’s degrees.

It will soon be time to saddle up for an exciting new event during Homecoming and Family Weekend at ��Ӱֱ�� State. The college will host its first bulls and barrels rodeo on Saturday, Oct. 14.

While awards and honors aren’t why the officers of the University Police Department at ��Ӱֱ�� State do their job, they do provide a testament to the quality of safety and security that these men and women in uniform provide every day on campus. The most recent acknowledgement of this came from the New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS), who granted the department’s reaccreditation earlier this month.

This book is the fifth entry in a popular series of mysteries for children, and is available on the Amazon website. The book contains beautiful color illustrations by Gary Kato, a prominent Hawaiian artist.

The Educational Foundation of ��Ӱֱ��, Inc., a private foundation representing faculty, staff, and friends of ��Ӱֱ�� State, has welcomed a new board member, Ruthanne Ashworth, of Hornell.

��Ӱֱ�� State is No. 1 among all SUNY schools in the Northern Regional Colleges category. For schools with out-of-state tuition and fees below $12,000, once again ��Ӱֱ�� State earned a No. 1 ranking in the north.

Programs within the department that are eligible for accreditation include the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), financial planning (BBA), sport management (BBA), technology management (BBA), the Associate of Science (AS) in business administration sport management (AS), the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in accounting and marketing (AAS).

��Ӱֱ�� State recently welcomed 37 new faculty and staff members.

��Ӱֱ�� State wants to see you at Homecoming and Family Weekend Oct. 12-14.

A total of 16 projects took place in five areas this year – ��Ӱֱ��, Almond, Belmont, Hornell, and Wellsville. The projects ranged from exterior and interior painting at Hornell Area Concern for Youth, to moving and organizing book collections at the David A. Howe Public Library, to screen printing with the ��Ӱֱ�� Farmers Market, and more. 

The facility features three locker room spaces. The largest space has over 100 lockers, showers, restrooms, and a laundry room while on the other side of the building there are a pair of identical locker rooms with 30 lockers, showers, and restrooms.

A wide variety of photographs, pictures, books, and objects are on loan from the museum, including railroad memorabilia such as lanterns, timetables, tickets, uniforms, postcards, and maps.
