The school year may be over, but ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) is still helping students and recent grads to find those all-important job and internship opportunities.

Linda Panter, a longtime UUP member, professor emeritus of nursing at ��Ӱֱ�� State, and chapter vice president for academics, wanted to help her students support each other. So, she set up a discussion board through her students’ final course, and invited them to exchange ideas, experiences, and concerns.

��Ӱֱ�� State College’s own Priyanka Karki and Rebecca Stevens are among the 100 State University of New York (SUNY) students who have been recently honored with Chancellor’s Undergraduate Scholarships and Graduate Fellowships.

After collecting feedback from hundreds of seniors about their preferred type of commencement celebration, ��Ӱֱ�� State College has decided to honor its Class of 2020 by holding a virtual graduation ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 20.

��Ӱֱ�� State College took to Instagram recently to honor more than three dozen faculty, staff, and students through its virtual Pioneer Award Show.

With over 300 pre-packed boxes to hand out at a recent food distribution drive-thru event, more than a dozen ��Ӱֱ�� State College (ASC) faculty and staff members stepped up alongside other volunteers to provide food to those in need.

��Ӱֱ�� State College is proud of its students and is delighted to recognize those who have been awarded for their excellence in academics, leadership, civic engagement, and more.

During this unprecedented time when students cannot visit campus, the State University of New York’s ��Ӱֱ�� State College is virtually bringing the campus experience into local living rooms through an interactive television event. 

While many people continue to help flatten the curve by staying home during the current pandemic, countless nurses such as Cheryl and Katlyn Richardson are also answering the call of duty by serving on the front lines in the ongoing battle against the coronavirus.

With so many healthcare workers currently in need of personal protective equipment, ��Ӱֱ�� State has stepped up by donating face masks and gowns to local hospitals and nursing homes.

With some students facing food insecurity as a result of COVID-19, ��Ӱֱ�� State College has initiated a pilot food pantry program to help.

While ��Ӱֱ�� State continues to produce face masks on campus from 3D printers, several college employees are also helping out by sewing masks from home during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

��Ӱֱ�� State is proud to announce that USA Archery has named ��Ӱֱ�� State archer Robert “Jay” Lawrence IV to its 2020 All-American Team. Lawrence is the first Pioneer to achieve this honor in the four-year history of ��Ӱֱ�� State’s program.
