The ��Ӱֱ�� State performing arts organizations will showcase their work at their annual winter concert on Friday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. in the Cappadonia Auditorium.

“44 new trees are near the college’s main entrance as a new retention pond that aids water runoff is now transformed with a new park surrounding it. The rest of the trees and shrubs are concentrated on Lower College Drive. They are all native species ranging from oaks to maples.”

Ashley Wolfe (Painted Post, NY) led the way for the ��Ӱֱ�� State western equestrian team finished as the reserve hi-point team in both the AM and PM shows at ��Ӱֱ�� University.

“At first, I was more interested in getting an associate degree and then I met my incredible advisor who swayed me into switching into the four-year program. I have learned so much from my professors. Criminal justice is so broad, there is so many different opportunities in it.”

The ��Ӱֱ�� State football team is heading to the NCAA Division III Tournament after defeating Dean College 55-3 in their regular season finale to clinch the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) title. The Pioneers will head to the University of Mount Union (Alliance, OH) for their first-round contest.

Quinn Scanlon will travel to Italy and will take part in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Final. He will be with the team the whole week through testing, practice, qualifying, and the actual races on Nov. 18 and 19.

“We had a great showing with a wide variety of original poetry.This is one of our department’s favorite evenings, and I was so impressed by our students’ creativity and courage."

The performing arts ensembles at ��Ӱֱ�� State College continued their support of the Mary Cariola Children’s Center by raising funds and participating in the organization’s largest community fundraiser.

“Getting to participate in projects like this is satisfying in multiple ways. Being able to apply skills we learn in the classroom while helping the local community is a double victory. Our students enjoyed being part of the project and are proud of the final product.”

The ��Ӱֱ�� State men's soccer team won the Allegany Mountain Collegiate Conference Championship for the first time with a victory over Mt. Aloysius.
