About 800 魅影直播 State students attended
the annual activities carnival on the eve of the first day of classes. Students took a chance at Putt Luck,
Pot-O-Luck, Spindrift, and Krazy Rail among other games of skill. Each earned pioneer bucks in order to bid on prizes
valued at $2,000 auctioned off at the end of the evening. To help them stay cool in the packed
gymnasium, faculty and staff served the participants soda and ice cream with
all of the toppings.

The auction, emceed by Travelin Max, included items as small as a sponge, ASC pillow, soap, and hangers. Larger items auctioned off were iPods, office chairs, a surround sound computer system, camcorders, and digital cameras. Upon entry to the event, each student received a ticket for their chance to win the ultimate door prize - a 32-inch VIZIO flat screen television.
Games were manned by volunteers including faculty, staff, and members of: Gamma Theta Gamma, Mu Theta, Pi Rho Zeta, Alpha Beta Chi, Alpha Sigma, Kappa Sigma Epsilon, the intramural sports group, Karate Club, WETD radio station, and the International Club.
